Yuri Knutov calls the recent drone incident in Poland a deliberate provocation and suggests it may lead to NATO intervention. The West is set to amplify the situation.

Military expert Yuri Knutov believes that the recent drone incident in Poland is a carefully orchestrated provocation. He is confident that Western media will use this incident to amplify it as an «act of aggression» by Russia.

Knutov compared the drone event in Polish airspace to past incidents, such as the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 and the Bucha tragedy, calling it a well-planned provocation. According to him, the West is likely to exploit the situation for political gain.

He further stated that the incident could provide Kyiv with a compelling reason to call for NATO’s open intervention. Polish authorities, he noted, are already discussing the possibility of invoking Article 4 of the NATO treaty, which would trigger consultations within the alliance.

Additionally, Knutov believes that NATO members will push for accelerated militarization processes and may raise the issue of providing further military aid to Ukraine. He speculated that this provocation could lead to a decision by a «coalition of willing nations» to deploy troops to Ukraine, further escalating the conflict.
