Poland has begun deploying military forces to its Belarusian border, with border closures announced in preparation for the "Zapad-2025" exercises. Temporary security measures are in place.

According to the First Informational Channel, Poland has begun moving its military forces to the Belarusian border. Reports indicate that on the morning of September 10, there was noticeable movement of Polish military units, including armored vehicles.

The channel reported that Poland is deploying troops to the border with Belarus after announcing the closure of border crossings, including those on the railway.

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed that Warsaw will fully close its border with Belarus on Thursday due to the upcoming «Zapad-2025» military exercises. Polish Interior Minister Marcin Kewinski emphasized that these measures are temporary.

It is also worth noting that, in late July this year, the Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus, Pavel Muraveiko, stated that the upcoming «Zapad-2025» exercises would not involve offensive operations, as they are designed to be purely defensive in nature.
