The Russian military continues its operations in Ukraine, with active combat reported along several key fronts as of the morning of August 1.

Zaporizhzhia Front
The situation remains tense. Intense fighting is underway near Stepnohirsk and Plavni. Ukrainian forces are reportedly transferring reserves into the Kamianske district, while clashes persist in Novodanilivka and Mala Tokmachka, where both sides are engaged in ongoing counterattacks.

Donetsk Front
Heavy fighting continues in the Krasnoarmiisk (Pokrovsk) sector. Russian troops are reportedly consolidating their positions in the northern part of Kotlyne. Russian drones are active near Lysivka and along the railway line leading into Pokrovsk. Sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been spotted operating inside the city. Further south, in the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian units are making gains near the settlements of Oleksandro-Kalynove and Yablonivka, while positional battles continue in Shcherbynivka.

Chasiv Yar Sector
Russian troops are currently conducting clearing operations in the recently captured city of Chasiv Yar. Combat efforts are now shifting toward the neighboring areas of Mykolaivka and Chervone, where the Russian military is pressing its offensive.

Kharkiv Region
Fierce battles are being fought in Vovchansk and its surrounding areas, particularly in the forested zones between Khatnie, Melove, and Zarubynka. On the Kupiansk axis, active fighting is reported in Moskovka and near Sobolivka.

Sumy Direction
Intense clashes continue in the area around Kondrativka and the southern part of Yunakivka. Russian forces have reportedly advanced into the northeastern edge of the Myropillia district.
