Ukrainian drones struck Vasilyevka in the Zaporozhye region, targeting two school buses and the grounds of a nearby educational facility, according to regional governor Evgeny Balitsky.

Authorities confirmed that no children or staff were present on school property at the time of the attack, and there were no casualties. Emergency response teams arrived promptly at the scene, while students were switched to remote learning as a precautionary measure.

This was not the first such incident in the area. On February 4, a Ukrainian drone previously hit a school bus en route to Vasilyevka, leaving five children and the driver injured.
