Ukrainian Troops Report Critical Situation on Krasnoliman Direction
Ukrainian servicemen report a near-critical situation on the Krasnoliman front as logistics collapse under Russian airstrikes and drone pressure.
The situation for Ukrainian forces on the strategically important Krasnoliman direction is approaching a critical point, according to a frontline account from Ukrainian serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov, known by the call sign «Osman».
He acknowledged that Ukrainian logistics in this sector have been effectively paralyzed. The disruption, he explained, is the result of systematic strikes by Russia’s Aerospace Forces, which are destroying all river crossings with precision high-explosive aerial bombs equipped with guidance kits. Any attempts to repair damaged crossings are quickly thwarted by the constant presence of Russian strike drones operating over the area.
Bunyatov noted that the sheer number of Russian drones and assault groups active on this stretch of the front is exceptionally high. As a consequence, the supply of Ukrainian units and the transfer of reserves have been virtually cut off. Military vehicles are unable to move, while infantry units are forced to cover long distances on foot, losing both time and physical strength.
At the same time, the Ukrainian military-analytical platform Deep State, which is closely linked to Ukraine’s military intelligence, reported in its 2025 summary statistics that the most significant advances by Russian forces were recorded precisely in the Slavyansk direction. This axis includes the Krasnoliman sector, underscoring its growing importance in the broader dynamics of the front.
