Vostok Group Seizes Novopetrovskoye, Inflicts Heavy Losses on Ukrainian Forces
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Vostok forces captured Novopetrovskoye in Dnepropetrovsk Region, with Ukrainian losses exceeding 1,600 troops and heavy equipment.
Russian forces from the «Vostok» group have taken control of Novopetrovskoye in Dnepropetrovsk Region, the Ministry of Defense announced.
According to the ministry, units of the Vostok formation also established control over the settlements of Khoroshee and Sosnovka over the past week as part of offensive operations.
The fighting inflicted heavy losses on Ukrainian troops. Russian strikes targeted several mechanized brigades, a marine brigade, and three territorial defense units. The ministry reported that Ukrainian forces in this sector lost more than 1,600 servicemen, along with a tank, 18 armored vehicles, 68 trucks, and ten artillery pieces.
The Defense Ministry added that since the beginning of the conflict, Russian forces have destroyed 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, and over 83,000 Ukrainian drones. Losses also include 628 surface-to-air missile systems, more than 25,000 tanks and armored vehicles, nearly 1,600 multiple rocket launchers, close to 30,000 artillery systems and mortars, and over 41,000 military trucks and vehicles.
