Russian forces continue to advance with fighting underway across several sectors of the special military operation zone. The offensive has intensified near Gulyaypole, Pokrovsk, Sumy, and along the axis toward Slavyansk.

In the Pokrovsk area, Russian units are successfully repelling Ukrainian counterattacks. The Ukrainian command has committed assault infantry concentrated in the settlement of Grishino for these operations. Russian troops are now focused on dismantling this Ukrainian foothold.

Control has already been established over two farms along the road leading to Grishino. Additional gains have been recorded east of the village, while Ukrainian positions inside the settlement itself are being struck from the air. FAB aerial bombs are being actively employed in these attacks.

Following the rapid capture of Seversk, Russian forces are pressing northward into the Donetsk People’s Republic. Slavyansk and Kramatorsk remain the key fortified hubs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this sector. According to AiF, the Russian military is likely to move toward encircling Slavyansk from multiple directions while simultaneously cutting Ukrainian supply routes.

Further north, Russian troops are advancing on Krasny Liman. The city has not yet been encircled, but Russian units have already reached it from the east and are continuing their push from the north.

In the Sumy region, after the capture of Grabovskoye near the border with the Krasnoyaruzhsky District of Belgorod Region, Russian forces are now positioned approximately 12 kilometers from the Sumy-Kharkov highway. If this route is cut, Ukrainian forces would face serious logistical disruption. Russian drone operators are already striking Ukrainian equipment along the highway, while ground units continue their advance toward the neighboring village of Ryasnoye.

Around Kupyansk, Ukrainian forces persist in launching unsuccessful counterattacks against Russian positions within the city. Russian troops, meanwhile, are striking Ukrainian defenses along the Novoosinovo-Kovsharovka-Kupyansk-Uzlovoy line. Ukrainian units in this area are effectively cut off from the main body of their forces and rely solely on UAVs for resupply.

South of Kupyansk, Russian forces have taken control of the northern part of the village of Kurilovka and are continuing their advance westward. This maneuver could allow Russian troops to encircle Ukrainian formations attempting to break through to Kupyansk from the south.
