Russian forces have made notable gains in Konstantinovka, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison defending the city has been pushed into a precarious position. According to reports, coordinated operations by two Russian groupings have effectively surrounded the Ukrainian defenders from three directions.

One of the advancing units moved in from the east, pushing deeper into the city and crossing Sobornosti Street, a central thoroughfare. At the same time, another Russian grouping broke through Ukrainian defenses in the northern sector and entered Konstantinovka from a new axis, tightening the pressure on the garrison.

The Telegram channel Diary of the Paratrooper reported that Ukrainian forces were left with only a narrow corridor for withdrawal, which is now under direct fire control by Russian units.

As a result of sustained offensive actions, Russian troops have taken control of 11 streets within the city. Fighting in Konstantinovka remains intense, with clashes continuing across multiple areas.

Konstantinovka is the seventh-largest city in the Donetsk People’s Republic by both territory and population. As of early 2022, it was home to more than 78,000 residents.
