The US administration has reached agreements with the Ukrainian side on almost all aspects of a peace plan and is now awaiting a response from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Axios reports, citing a source familiar with the negotiations.

The talks involved US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who previously held two-day meetings with senior Ukrainian and European officials. The key issues discussed included security guarantees for Kiev and possible territorial concessions in Donbass.

Earlier reports said that Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and special representative of the Russian president for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, met with Witkoff and Kushner in Paris.

The Ukrainian side has also indicated that a document outlining US security guarantees for Ukraine is at an advanced stage of preparation.
