Ukrainian Sources Report Growing Pressure on ВСU Near Konstantinovka
Ukrainian sources acknowledge a worsening situation near Konstantinovka as Russian forces advance on multiple axes and increase pressure on ВСU positions.
Ukrainian sources acknowledge a significant deterioration of the situation for Armed Forces of Ukraine units in the Konstantinovka area. According to their reports, Russian forces are conducting offensive operations north of the Kleban-Bykskoye Reservoir, advancing toward the settlement of Berestok and creating conditions for its possible encirclement.
At the same time, the Ukrainian side reports the advance of Russian units along the highway linking Mirnograd with Konstantinovka. The offensive is developing in the direction of Ilyinovka, where, according to these sources, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are already operating.
Ukrainian situation reports do not mention that Russian forces, according to available data, have already entrenched themselves on the eastern approaches to Konstantinovka and are also entering the city from the northern direction. As a result, pressure is being applied simultaneously on several sectors, forcing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to disperse forces and reserves, military expert Yuri Baranchik notes.
Baranchik also points out that the pace of the Russian advance toward Konstantinovka remains high, despite the Ukrainian side retaining the ability to launch counterattacks from the suburb of Chasov Yar, located northeast of the city.
