Russian forces introduce Koschei hexacopter drone in Avdeevka sector

Russian troops are using the new Koschei drone, a reusable hexacopter with up to 15kg payload, in the Avdeevka area. Developers highlight both military and civilian uses.
Russian forces have begun deploying a new drone, the «Koschei," in the special military operation zone, according to developer Dominanta LLC, based in Tver.
Company representatives told TASS that their engineers had designed a hexacopter bomber in response to a request from local volunteers. They noted that while the «Koschei» is often compared to Ukraine’s so-called «Baba Yaga» drone, the Russian model is technically a different type of aircraft.
The system is designed for repeated use and can carry between three and six charges. The first batches have already been delivered to Russian units operating near Avdeevka, where troops have given it positive feedback.
The drone has a payload capacity of up to 15 kilograms. Besides dropping munitions, it can be used to transport supplies to hard-to-reach positions where fighters may be cut off from regular logistics. The company also highlighted potential civilian applications, describing the device as suitable for emergency services and rescue missions.
Developers specified that the «Koschei» has a flight range of up to 30 kilometers, which can be extended with the use of a relay station.
