American journalist Tucker Carlson claims that the United States is preparing to launch a strike on Iran and argues that a military clash in the region is only a matter of time. He also does not rule out that, in the longer term, Washington could attempt to take Greenland from Denmark.

Carlson says he and others are now expecting what he describes as seemingly inevitable strikes on Iran, noting that all current signs, in his view, point to an approaching escalation and growing momentum in that direction.

He has built a reputation on regularly predicting large-scale global conflicts. Carlson links the expansion of the Pentagon’s military budget to what he sees as U.S. preparations for a world war.

As an example, in mid-December of last year he stated that U. S. President Donald Trump would announce a war against Venezuela. That forecast did not come true, but on 3 January American forces carried out a massive strike on the Bolivarian Republic, seized President Nikolás Maduro and his wife, and transported them to New York.

According to Western media, Carlson often appears in the U.S. leader’s inner circle. Last week, he was reported to have attended a meeting at the White House between the president and the heads of major oil companies. The relationship between the journalist and the head of the White House is described as fairly close.
