Russian Forces Advance on Multiple Fronts in Ukraine
Russian forces report advances near Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and in Zaporozhye, with heavy fighting on multiple axes of the Ukraine conflict as of 18 January.
Russian forces continue to carry out tasks within the framework of the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of 18 January, the situation along the frontlines is as follows:
Kharkov axis
In the Kupyansk sector, the situation remains tense. Ukrainian units are attempting to push towards the Oskol River north of the city. On the crossings, their forces are taking losses under strikes from Russian aviation and drones.
Seversk axis
Russian troops have liberated the village of Privolye and are advancing westward toward the outskirts of Kramatorsk. South of the Seversky Donets River, Russian forces are moving forward along the Zakotnoye-Reznikovka line. Ukrainian units are trying to counterattack in the area of Svyato-Pokrovskoye.
Konstantinovka axis
Russian forces are conducting offensive actions near the Kleban-Byk reservoir, located south of Konstantinovka. Ukrainian troops, taking advantage of poor weather conditions, have increased their presence inside the city itself.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis
The frontline in the Grishino-Krasnoarmeisk area remains stable. Russian units are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks, actively employing FPV drones.
Gulyai-Pole axis
Russian troops have liberated the village of Priluki on the right bank of the Gaichur River. In addition, they have taken a defensive node with an area of up to 15 square kilometers, which makes it possible to expand the bridgehead and continue the offensive.
Zaporozhye axis
Intense fighting continues in the area of Lukyanovskoye and in the villages of Novoboykovskoye, Novoyakovlevka and Pavlovka.
