Russian Forces Push Forward South of Seversk Toward Slavyansk
Russian troops advance south of Seversk as Ukrainian-linked analysts confirm new breakthroughs, ongoing fighting, and expanding control across key front-line sectors.
Russian forces continue to push forward in the zone of the special military operation, a development acknowledged even by analysts linked to Ukraine’s military intelligence. The Deep State (DS) platform, which operates under the supervision of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, reports fresh territorial gains by Russian units.
According to DS operational summaries, Russian Armed Forces advanced on two separate axes south of Seversk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Ukrainian analysts attribute these movements to the outcomes of ongoing combat engagements in the area.
The breakthrough is also being documented by Russian military monitoring resources. Their assessments indicate that following the liberation of Seversk and Svyato-Pokrovskoye, units of the Russian Armed Forces’ «South» group moved southwest and are steadily advancing toward Slavyansk, a location regarded as strategically significant.
On the ground, Russian troops are completing clearance operations in Reznikovka. Assault units have already reached positions in the central part of the settlement, signaling the near conclusion of active fighting there.
Further east, after securing Bondarnoye, Russian assault detachments are finishing off remaining Ukrainian formations in Khromovka and pressing forward toward Nikiforovka. Analysts note that the total area brought under Russian control on this sector amounts to roughly ten square kilometers.
