Russian forces have taken control of Novopavlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Pavlovka in Zaporozhye Region, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

According to the ministry, Novopavlovka was secured by units of the Center group of forces. During the fighting, Russian troops struck personnel and equipment belonging to multiple Ukrainian formations, including two mechanized brigades, a jaeger brigade, an airmobile brigade, an air assault brigade, two assault regiments, a marine brigade, and two National Guard brigades. Engagements were reported in the areas of Dobropolye, Sergeyevka, Grishino, Novy Donbass, Belitskoye, and Sukhetskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as near Novopodgorodnoye and Demurino in Dnepropetrovsk Region.

The ministry estimated Ukrainian losses in this sector at up to 400 servicemen. It also reported the destruction of four armored combat vehicles and five motor vehicles.

On the Zaporozhye axis, units of the Dnepr group of forces advanced successfully, taking Pavlovka under control. Strikes were carried out against Ukrainian mechanized, mountain assault, and coastal defense brigades in the areas of Antonovka and Nikolskoye in Kherson Region, as well as Orekhov and Novoyakovlevka in Zaporozhye Region.

In this direction, the ministry reported up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen killed, along with the destruction of three vehicles, two electronic warfare stations, and a logistics warehouse.
