Special forces units known as Anvar are carrying out strikes along the Bryansk-Chernigov axis, targeting Ukrainian military facilities and disrupting attempts to launch attacks against Russian border areas. The information was reported by the Telegram channel Voenkory Russkoy Vesny.
According to the report, the commandos identify Ukrainian positions in the sector and destroy them, preventing assaults on Russian frontier regions. Footage shared by the channel shows strikes on Ukrainian sites, with one of the targets believed to have been a drone command post.
This activity follows earlier reports from Russia’s Federal Security Service. At the end of August, the FSB announced that Ukrainian sabotage groups had attempted to infiltrate Bryansk Region. Officials said the units had been prepared by Western intelligence services to carry out attacks on Russian transport infrastructure.
