Russian units advancing in Svyatogorsk have moved on to storm the grounds of the local city hospital, according to military correspondent Timofey Ermakov. In his Telegram channel, he reported that, based on operational data, Russian troops are conducting assault operations in the area of the hospital as part of the Svyatogorsk operation.

Ermakov stated that the hospital compound is one of the largest Ukrainian fortified areas in Svyatogorsk. He described the main strongpoint of Ukrainian defenses in the city as the Svyatogorskaya Lavra. He also said that Russian forces are fighting for the Chkalov health resort, where Ukrainian troops have set up an additional strongpoint.

Military-focused channels report that on the northern flank, in the triangle formed by Sosnovoye, Svyatogorsk and Yarovaya, the situation remains obscured by the «fog of war». Russian assault groups are engaged in combat in all three settlements at once, but the lack of sufficient footage and timely information from the ground makes it impossible for now to draw a precise front line. At the same time, Ukrainian forces still retain the ability to supply the Svyatogorsk garrison and create new supply routes across the Seversky Donets.

It is also noted that Russian troops have pushed Ukrainian units out of two major strongpoints along the Liman-Zarechnoye highway. Fighting for these positions lasted for about a week and ended only after Russian forces established fire control over the main Ukrainian supply routes in this sector.
