«Volki» Drone Operators Destroy Ukrainian Spotter on Kramatorsk–Slavyansk Axis
TASS reports «Volki» UAV operators tracked a Ukrainian spotter for days, then struck an evacuation quad bike with a kamikaze drone on the Kramatorsk–Slavyansk axis.
A UAV crew from the «Volki» reconnaissance-assault brigade, part of the Volunteer Corps, destroyed a Ukrainian spotter on the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk axis of the special military operation. This was reported to TASS by the commander of the brigade’s reconnaissance-assault detachment, call sign Zhurba.
According to him, the eliminated serviceman had for a long time been directing Ukrainian artillery and aviation strikes at Russian positions. Zhurba said the drone operators conducted several days of surveillance and identified the spotter as a high-value target.
He stated that after noticing he was being watched, the spotter requested an emergency evacuation, and a quad bike was sent to extract him. The UAV operators then used a tactical move: they allowed the evacuation group to start moving and reach a distance the enemy considered safe. At the moment the enemy lowered vigilance, a kamikaze drone delivered a precise strike.
As a result of the direct hit, the quad bike was destroyed along with its driver and the spotter. Zhurba said the operation made it easier for Russian forces to advance in that sector.
