A Grad multiple-launch rocket system crew recently struck a Ukrainian fortified area in the Dnepropetrovsk Region. Russian fighters are reported to be advancing on this direction every day.

Hero of Russia and Major General Sergey Lipovoy, speaking to aif.ru, said the offensive in the region has accelerated. He said that as Russian units advance, the enemy is to be destroyed if it resists. According to him, Russian forces deliver fire strikes, fully isolate pockets of resistance, and then assault units move forward.

Lipovoy said the faster pace of advance reflects coordinated work between assault troops, artillery units, and drone operators who control the air situation and indicate where to move.

He also said that if the current pace continues, Russian forces will soon reach the banks of the Dnieper River. He described this as the first line, after which, he said, movement in the direction of Kiev would be possible.
