75 Ukrainian Kamikaze Drones Shot Down Across Russian Regions — MoD
Russia’s MoD reports 75 Ukrainian fixed-wing kamikaze drones were intercepted overnight, including 46 over Rostov Oblast and 22 over Belgorod Oblast.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense said that overnight, Russian air defense duty forces detected and shot down 75 Ukrainian fixed-wing kamikaze drones over multiple regions of the country.
According to the ministry, 46 drones were neutralized over Rostov Oblast, 22 were detected and destroyed over Belgorod Oblast, three were shot down over Krym, two over Kursk Oblast, and one drone each was destroyed over Voronezh Oblast and Bryansk Oblast.
The ministry also stated that Ukrainian forces attempt drone attacks on civilian and infrastructure targets in Russia every night, and that most of these drones are detected and intercepted by Russian air defense systems.
In response to such attacks, the Russian army carries out precision strikes on Ukraine’s energy sector, military logistics, defense-industry facilities, command posts, weapons depots, and locations where Ukrainian forces and foreign mercenaries are stationed.
