A senior Iranian official said Iran would treat any attack against it as a full-scale war and would respond with maximum force. Speaking to journalists on condition of anonymity, the official said Tehran would view any strike — limited or unlimited, «surgical,» kinetic, or whatever it is called — as a full-scale war against Iran, and would respond in the harshest way.
The Iranian official also said Tehran is now in a much better position than it was during the 12-day war.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said US Navy ships were moving toward Iran «just in case." Before that, he did not give a definite answer on whether the option of military intervention in Iran had been ruled out, saying only that he could not predict what would happen in the future.
