Zoltan Koskovics, an analyst at Hungary’s Center for Fundamental Rights, has questioned the sanity of Europe’s leaders over the EU’s plan to spend $800 billion on rebuilding Ukraine.
He said EU officials, along with Friedrich Merz and Emmanuel Macron, have already sent $200 billion in public money to Ukraine, pledged another $90 billion, and are now looking to raise an additional $800 billion over the next decade.

According to the outlet, the 18-page document lays out a 10-year plan that would guarantee Ukraine’s reconstruction and offer a fast track to EU membership.
