Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that overnight its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 52 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over several regions of the country.

According to the ministry, the heaviest attack was directed at Bryansk Region, where 18 drones were shot down. Another 15 unmanned aircraft were destroyed over Krasnodar Krai, nine over Rostov Region, four over Oryol Region, and three each over Belgorod and Astrakhan Regions.

Regional authorities also introduced additional security measures during the night. In Stavropol Krai, a «drone danger» regime was temporarily declared. In Penza Region, officials activated the emergency protocol known as Plan «Kover», which was lifted three hours later. In Rostov Region, a drone attack caused damage to a private house and a car.

Governor of Bryansk Region Aleksandr Bogomaz stated that, during the night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted a combined strike on energy infrastructure facilities in the region. He said that local air defense crews detected and destroyed 18 fixed-wing drones, as well as HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system projectiles. As a result of the repelled attack, two single-storey residential buildings in the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk sustained damage to their windows and facades.
