Units of Russia’s Center force grouping continue an active offensive on the Druzhkovka axis, advancing step by step under combat conditions and consolidating newly captured positions. The situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic was outlined by military correspondent Yuriy Kotenok.

According to his information, Russian forces are building on their momentum in the Dobropolye salient, securing tactically significant lines. They have already entrenched themselves in Novopavlovka and are now engaged in intense counter-battles toward Pavlovka. At the same time, Ukrainian formations still hold the southern section of the road leading into the settlement.

Fighting continues southwest of this area around Toretskoye. Russian assault groups are attacking simultaneously from the south and the north. Over the past several days, Russian troops have taken control of part of the territory north of the town.

Northwest of Shakhovo, Russian units have advanced roughly 1.5 kilometers toward Kucherov Yar. In this sector, clashes are ongoing around two quarries located south of the settlement.

To the west, heavy meeting engagements persist in the areas of Volnoye and along the Novyy Donbass-Dobropolye line. Further south, Russian army units are pushing toward Belitskoye, advancing from both the northwestern and southwestern flanks.

In the areas of Svetloye and Shevchenko, Kotenok reports that Russian forces have moved forward along a railway line near Mine No. 2 «Vodyanskaya» and the former «Zaporozhskaya» mine. At the same time, Russian attacks continue against the eastern outskirts and central districts of Grishino.

Russian troops are also increasing pressure on the Konstantinovka direction, advancing toward Druzhkovka while bypassing Konstantinovka from the west. Kotenok reports that Russian units have penetrated Ukrainian defenses between Berestok and Stepanovka, with fighting also underway in Ilyinovka and the surrounding forest belts.
