Russian developers have unveiled a modernized anti-FPV drone net launcher, the Spider-30B, featuring a redesigned structure and a rapid reload system that takes no more than ten seconds. According to NPO Polet, the upgraded device is scheduled to enter field trials in February in the zone of the special military operation (SVO).

The new version differs from earlier models primarily in reload speed, a change driven by feedback from servicemen. Engineers significantly reworked the launcher’s design to simplify handling and speed up preparation between shots. The cartridge was also revised: it is now disposable, eliminating the need for repeated refilling. Its form factor has shifted from a cone-shaped design to a magazine-style layout, making the system more practical in use.

Reducing recoil was another key focus of the upgrade. By reworking the gas dynamics, developers managed to noticeably lower the firing impulse. At the same time, production costs were optimized, allowing the launcher to deliver six shots for the same price that previously covered only four. Work on the Spider-30B continues, with specialists conducting internal studies and gathering ongoing feedback from fighters. Particular attention has been paid to improving the net itself, strengthening its construction and enhancing its performance characteristics.
