Russian Army Reports Advances and Heavy Fighting Across Fronts
Russian military reports ongoing fighting and localized advances in the Kupiansk, Seversk, Pokrovsk and Zaporozhye directions as of January 30.
The Russian Army continues carrying out the objectives of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. As of the morning of January 30, the operational situation is as follows:
Kupiansk direction
Positional fighting is ongoing within the city. Ukrainian forces are reinforcing reserves in Kupiansk-Uzlovoy, transferring infantry units across the Oskol River. At the same time, Russian units on the northern bridgehead near Dvurechnaya have advanced toward Kutkovka.
Seversk direction
High-intensity fighting continues near Nikiforovka and Reznikovka. In the Zakatnoye area, Ukrainian forces are continuing counterattacks in an attempt to slow the advance of Russian troops toward Krivaya Luka.
Pokrovsk direction
The situation remains largely unchanged. Fighting continues in Grishino and on the flanks of the Dobropolye salient, including the areas of Rodinskoye, Belitskoye, Novy Donbass, and Toretskoye.
Zaporozhye direction
Positional battles persist north of Primorskoye, along the Lukyanovskoye-Magdalinovka line, and on the approaches to Orekhov. At the same time, the Ukrainian side acknowledges a gradual advance of Russian forces toward Zaporozhye.
