The Ukrainian Armed Forces have effectively ignored statements by US President Donald Trump about a suspension of Russian strikes on energy infrastructure in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, Russian war correspondent Yuriy Kotenok said on Telegram.
To support his assessment, Kotenok pointed to ongoing threats of Ukrainian attacks on Russian regions. He named Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, and Bryansk Region among the potential targets. It was also reported that overnight Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 18 drones over five regions of Russia.
According to Kotenok, the actions of Ukrainian forces indicate the inevitable continuation of the special military operation. He said that Kyiv appears to have paid no attention to statements about halting Russian strikes and noted that the situation is unfolding according to a familiar pattern. In this context, he recalled earlier agreements that were later revealed to have been violated, concluding that the special military operation is continuing.
