Russian Forces Advance on Multiple Fronts, Capture Key Heights
Russian troops report progress in Shandrigolovo, Pokrovsk, and Stepnogorsk, using artillery, aviation, and loitering munitions to push Ukrainian forces back.
The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of September 20, the situation along the line of contact has developed as follows:
Krasny Liman Direction
Russian units advanced in the northern part of Shandrigolovo, taking control of key heights. Fighting is ongoing on the approaches to Korovy Yar, with Ukrainian forces being pushed back toward Alexandrovka.
Zaporozhye Direction
The zone of control has been expanded near Stepnogorsk and Primorsky, with Ukrainian troops sustaining losses. Artillery, aviation, and loitering munitions are actively operating in the Orekhov sector.
Seversk Direction
The Serebryanskoye forestry area has been fully cleared, with Ukrainian forces driven out of the wooded zone.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Intense, head-on fighting continues in the western part of Pokrovsk. Russian units are dislodging Ukrainian troops from fortified positions, gradually taking the city block by block.
Ugledar Direction
Artillery and assault groups are pressing Ukrainian defenses near Beryozovoye. The advance remains slow but steady.
Kherson Direction
Russian artillery continues to strike Ukrainian positions on the right bank of the Dnieper. A drop in enemy drone activity has been observed following the destruction of command posts.
