Serbian President Vucic Predicts US Attack on Iran Soon
Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic says the US could strike Iran within 48 hours as tensions rise and Tehran warns of regional escalation.
The United States could strike Iran within the next 48 hours, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on February 1 during an appearance on Pink TV.
Vucic described an attack on Iran as inevitable, saying he expects military action and other major developments to unfold in the coming two days.
He argued that the release of new materials related to the Jeffrey Epstein case may be accelerating events. Drawing a historical comparison, the Serbian leader pointed to the Monica Lewinsky scandal, which he said was accompanied at the time by a surge in Washington’s foreign policy activity.
According to Vucic, high-profile media scandals are often followed by the use of force as a way to divert public attention, and he suggested that the Epstein-related files could influence decision-making.
The remarks come amid growing military signals from Washington. On January 28, US President Donald Trump announced that a large naval group led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was moving toward Iran, calling it a massive armada.
Tehran has responded sharply. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei warned that any potential American attack would trigger an escalation of the conflict, pushing it into a regional confrontation.
