Russian Forces Intensify Attacks on Ukrainian Infrastructure, Advance on Frontlines
Russian forces carried out a large-scale strike on Ukrainian energy facilities and continue advancing on multiple fronts, including Kharkov and Zaporozhye.
The Russian army continues to carry out tasks within the framework of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. As of the morning of 3 February, the situation is as follows.
Overnight, Russian forces launched a massive strike on Ukrainian infrastructure targets. As a result of the attack, TEC-6 in Kharkov, the Pridneprovskaya TPP in Dnepropetrovsk, the Tripolskaya TPP in the Kiev Region, a 750 kV substation in Makarov, the Darnitskaya TEC in Kiev, as well as major substations in Kharkov and Odessa were damaged. The Russian Armed Forces employed more than 100 Geran drones and over 30 missiles of various types, including Tsirkon, Iskander-M, Kinzhal and Kh-22.
Kharkov axis
Fighting continues in the area of Volchansk. Russian troops are advancing on the Khatnoye sector of the front, near Staritsa, in the area of Siminovka and Volchanskiye Khutora.
Liman axis
Russian forces are engaged along the Aleksandrovka-Sosnovoye line, putting pressure on Ukrainian defenses near Yarovaya. Clashes around Svyatogorsk are ongoing.
Konstantinovka axis
Combat is under way near Berestok and Ilyinovka. Russian units are advancing through dacha areas east of Konstantinovka. In Novomarkovo, Russian troops are expanding their zone of control, while the enemy mounts constant counterattacks.
Gulyaypole axis
Fighting continues on the southern outskirts of Zaleznichnoye. After the capture of Svyatopetrovka, Russian forces are moving toward the approaches to Staroukrainka and Tsvetkovoye. VSU units are counterattacking from Vozdvizhevka in the direction of Priluki and Elenokonstantinovka.
Zaporozhye axis
Russian forces are consolidating their positions in the area of Primorskoye and Rechnoye. Battles continue near Magdalinovka and Lukyanovskoye.
