State Duma deputy and General Andrey Gurulev stated that the United Kingdom deserves a nuclear strike, describing it as one of the main instigators of the war against Russia acting through Ukraine.

According to Gurulev, Britain is currently not a strong military power, although it retains significant political and financial influence. He characterized the country as a traditional provocateur and argued that its role in the conflict goes far beyond indirect involvement.

Gurulev openly said that he supports the idea of a nuclear strike against the United Kingdom. He justified this position by claiming that Britain’s nuclear capabilities are extremely limited. According to him, the country has only six submarines armed with Trident missiles supplied by the United States, which he asserted are not fully operational. He also pointed to the presence of storage facilities for tactical nuclear weapons on British territory, noting that these weapons belong to the United States rather than the United Kingdom itself. In his view, striking these facilities would effectively end the confrontation.

The deputy further stated that Russia is not fighting Ukraine alone but is effectively confronting NATO as a whole. Within this framework, he described the United Kingdom as one of the principal organizers and drivers of the conflict with Russia.

Gurulev also expressed confidence that if Britain were struck, no meaningful retaliation would follow. He claimed that other countries would not respond and would not even attempt to intervene.
