Russian Special Operation: Frontline Developments Near Kharkov, Liman and Zaporozhye
Russian forces report advances near Volchansk, Stavki, Minkovka and south of Rechnoye, with heavy fighting along multiple axes and new positions taken by Feb 4.
The Russian army continues to carry out its objectives within the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of 4 February, the situation along the front lines was reported as follows:
Kharkov axis
Russian forces are engaged in intense fighting south of Volchansk and in the area of Khatnee. Units of the Russian armed forces are repelling counterattacks by the Ukrainian armed forces near Simonovka. After the liberation of the village of Zelenoe, Russian troops are advancing toward the settlement of Neskuchnoe.
Liman axis
Russian units are pushing forward inside the settlement of Stavki and taking up new positions in its southern part. In the area of Zakotnoe, Russian forces have taken several large Ukrainian strongpoints. Fighting continues in Reznikovka, where Ukrainian troops are holding the heights.
Konstantinovka axis
Russian forces are advancing in Minkovka and expanding their zone of control around Privolye. Counterattacks by Ukrainian units near Berestok have been repelled.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis
Heavy fighting continues in Grishino and near Sergeevka. Clashes are also ongoing in Belitskoe and Novy Donbass.
Gulyai Pole axis
Positional battles are underway along the Zaliznichnoe-Staroukrainka-Tsvetkovoe line. Russian troops have reached the eastern outskirts of Rozhdestvenskoe.
Zaporozhye axis
Fighting continues south of Rechnoye. Reports indicate that Russian forces are advancing in the direction of Magdalinovka and Zapasnoe.
