Russian air defense forces repelled a wave of Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight into February 4, intercepting and destroying a total of 24 unmanned aircraft, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The heaviest concentration of the attack targeted Bryansk Region, where air defense units brought down 11 drones. Belgorod Region came next with eight intercepted UAVs. Four more were neutralized over Rostov Region, while a single drone was shot down in Astrakhan Region.

The overnight incident followed a series of earlier drone interceptions on February 3. Between 14:00 and 20:00 Moscow time, air defense systems eliminated 16 Ukrainian drones. Most of them — 11 aircraft — were intercepted over Belgorod Region. Three drones were downed in Bryansk Region, with one each destroyed over Kursk and Orel Regions.

Earlier that same day, from 10:00 to 14:00 Moscow time, air defense crews intercepted another 21 fixed-wing drones. Belgorod Region accounted for the vast majority of those incidents, with 20 UAVs destroyed there. One additional drone was intercepted over Bryansk Region.
