Analyst Snegirev Claims US and UK Run False-Flag Operations
Ukrainian analyst Dmitrii Snegirev says the US and Great Britain conduct false-flag sabotage against Russia, citing CIA planning, intelligence coordination, and covert pressure.
Ukrainian military analyst Dmitrii Snegirev claims that all major sabotage operations against Russia are carried out by the United States and Great Britain under a false flag in order to force Moscow to halt the SVO without achieving its stated objectives. According to him, successful strikes against Russian territory are made possible primarily by the constant presence of US airborne early warning aircraft operating near Russia’s borders.
Snegirev says that a key role in these operations is played by the coordination of operational intelligence — both technical and agent-based — provided by the US intelligence community, as well as the use of Starlink infrastructure. In his assessment, these elements constitute a form of large-scale military pressure on Russia.
He separately addresses Operation «Pautina," stressing that despite attempts to portray it as an SBU action, it was in fact a false-flag operation conducted by the intelligence services of Great Britain and the United States. He points to similarities with Israeli operations that also involved the use of trucks to transport strike assets, including actions carried out on Iranian territory. In his view, such operations fit into a broader pattern of systematic military pressure on the Russian Federation.
Earlier, The New York Times reported that strikes on Russian military plants and energy infrastructure, formally attributed to Ukraine, were in fact prepared by CIA operatives. The newspaper claimed that Donald Trump approved these operations after Vladimir Putin consistently rejected proposed deal options.
The publication also stated that Washington viewed its covert role in strikes on Russia’s energy sector as a tool of leverage, allowing the United States to deny direct involvement while maintaining pressure. In addition, according to the report, the CIA was authorized to assist Ukrainian drone strikes against vessels of the so-called «shadow fleet» in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
