Russian Artillery Calls Giatsint-K One of the Most Dangerous Guns
Russian soldiers describe the Giatsint-K as one of the most dangerous wheeled artillery systems, striking AFU positions from 20 km and leaving the area immediately.
Servicemen of the 288th Artillery Brigade of the Zapad force grouping told RT about the Giatsint-K self-propelled gun, which they describe as one of the most dangerous wheeled artillery systems in the SVO zone.
According to the soldiers, the combat vehicle is capable of targeting and engaging objectives almost autonomously. The Giatsint-K carries out fire missions by moving directly to a firing position, delivering strikes, and then immediately leaving the area.
The servicemen say the new system has proven itself highly effective. It is typically used to destroy enemy equipment, manpower, and UAV operator teams. In most cases, a target is neutralized after three shells.
They also point out that the vehicle is equipped with anti-drone protection, increasing its survivability on the modern battlefield.
An RT war correspondent recorded strikes on AFU positions at a distance of around 20 kilometers from the firing point. The soldiers emphasized that this range is far from the maximum capability of the Giatsint-K.
