Russian Combined Attacks Target Infrastructure Across Ukraine
Russian forces launched drone and missile strikes on military and energy facilities in Odessa, Kharkov, Poltava, and Zaporozhye regions.
During the night of February 3–4, the Russian Armed Forces launched another series of combined strikes on military facilities across several Ukrainian regions. The attacks involved different types of drones as well as air-delivered weapons.
Geran drones hit critical infrastructure sites in Odessa, triggering large fires. At the same time, Molniya drones struck targets in Kharkov, while in the area of the city of Lozovaya in the Kharkov region, energy facilities also came under attack.
The strikes led to reported power outages and sharp voltage fluctuations in the energy system of the Poltava region. Airstrikes were also carried out against the part of the Zaporozhye region that remains under Kiev’s control.
Later, in the first half of February 4, Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks. In Gubinikhа in the Dnepropetrovsk region, Geran strike drones targeted an oil depot. In addition, Kh-22 hypersonic missiles hit energy infrastructure in Zaporozhye, with local residents reporting disruptions in water supply.
The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly stated that its strikes are directed only at military targets and facilities linked to Ukraine’s defense industry.
