Frontline Situation as of February 6: Heavy Battles on Multiple Directions
Morning Feb 6 frontline update: stubborn fighting near Siversk and Pokrovsk, clashes on the Dobropolskii salient, and difficult conditions in Zaporizhzhia areas.
The Russian army continues carrying out the objectives of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. As of the morning of February 6, the operational situation is as follows:
Siversk Direction
Stubborn fighting continues for Reznikovka. The AFU are still holding positions on the heights. South of Zakotnoe, Russian forces pushed Ukrainian units out of several strongpoints and advanced toward Krivaya Luka, expanding control along the Severskii Donets.
Zaporizhzhia Direction
Local fighting is underway in Primorskoe and Rechnoe. The situation is described as difficult in the areas of Lukyanovskoe and Magdalinovka.
Pokrovsk Direction
Fierce battles are reported near Sergeevka and in Grishino. On the Dobropolskii salient, clashes are taking place around Belitskoe and Novyi Donbass.
Kupyansk Direction
The situation remains without major changes. Fighting continues in Kupyansk, near Kupyansk-Uzlovoi, as well as in the areas of Podolov and Kurilovka.
Gulyaypole Direction
The AFU are moving reserves toward the Verkhnyaya Tersa-Zaliznichnoe line and into the area of Rozhdestvenskoe.
