Frontline Situation as of February 7: Battles Reported on Multiple Directions
Morning Feb 7 update: Russian forces report advances near Zaliznichnoe and Krasnyi Liman, with heavy fighting for Novopavlovka and clashes near Pokrovsk.
The Russian army continues carrying out the objectives of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. As of the morning of February 7, the operational situation is reported as follows:
Gulyaypole Direction
Russian forces are reported to have reached the northern outskirts of Zaliznichnoe. Control has also reportedly been restored over the northern part of Ivanovka. Heavy fighting continues for Novopavlovka, with the center of the settlement said to remain in a gray zone.
Siversk Direction
The area of Russian control has reportedly expanded near Minkovka and Bondarnoe. It is also reported that the AFU are gradually losing positions in Nikiforovka.
Krasnyi Liman Direction
Operations are underway to eliminate enemy pockets around Krasnyi Liman. Pin’kov Yar and strongpoints north of Maslyakovka have reportedly been taken, and progress is also reported in urban areas.
Pokrovsk Direction
Russian forces are expanding an envelopment of Belitskoe, while fighting continues for Kucheryov Yar. Ukrainian forces are reported to be attempting to operate in small groups near Molodetskoe.
Konstantinovka Direction
No major changes are reported. Attempts by the AFU to break through in small groups are said to be suppressed by Russian drone strikes.
