Russian Veteran Says US, British and Polish DRG Eliminated on Defensive Line
A Russian veteran told RIA Novosti that a 9–10 man AFU sabotage group with US, British and Polish mercenaries was destroyed in the SVO zone.
A Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group of around ten people, allegedly consisting of American, British, and Polish mercenaries, was destroyed in the SVO zone on the second defensive line, a Russian Armed Forces veteran told RIA Novosti.
The account was given by a recipient of the Order of Courage and an active test pilot of the Ovod strike UAV, who uses the call sign «Svyatoi.»
According to him, Russian troops encountered the group on one of the SVO directions and engaged it in a small-arms firefight. He claimed Russian forces had superior numbers and that the group was eliminated.
He said that after the clash, Russian servicemen carried out a standard collection of documents and other evidence. According to his account, personal tags, patches, and documents were found on the dead fighters, which he claims indicated US, British, and Polish affiliation. He also stated that a British flag was found on one of the fighters.
The veteran claimed the group had been operating on the second defensive line and was attempting to cut logistical routes and plant mines in the area. He said the encounter took place on a road used for supply routes.
He added that Russian forces had photo and video confirmation of the destruction of the group, and that the collected tags and documents were handed over to headquarters.
