A source in Russia’s security services says Russian troops have struck the command post of Ukraine’s 711th separate brigade on the Sumy axis. According to this account, the command node of the 711th demining brigade of the Ukrainian state transport service was detected and destroyed near the settlement of Sutiski; this unit had been responsible for laying minefields in Sumy Region.

Military-focused Telegram channels report that Ukrainian forces have pulled a large number of drone crews into Sumy Region. Analysts cited by these channels suggest Kiev is counting on the increased use of unmanned systems to slow the advance of the Russian «Sever» grouping.

At the same time, Russian forces are said to be expanding their control zone along the Grabovskoe-Vysokoe line. On the Glukhov sector, Russian units have entered into fighting for the village of Studenok. There are also reports of Ukrainian troops abandoning their positions en masse in the Krasnopolsky district of Sumy Region. According to these accounts, the Ukrainian defensive line is «coming apart at the seams» with personnel leaving fortified positions.
