Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 60 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones during a nighttime operation spanning six regions of the country, as well as over the Black and Azov seas.

According to the official statement, the attacks occurred between 11:30 p.m. on July 31 and 4:10 a.m. on August 1, Moscow time. During that window, Russia’s air defense systems were reportedly able to neutralize all incoming aerial threats.

The breakdown of intercepted drones by region is as follows:
— 31 drones were downed over Belgorod Region
— 12 over Rostov Region
— 5 over Krasnodar Territory
— 3 over Voronezh Region
— 2 each over Lipetsk and Tula Regions

In addition, Russian forces reported intercepting one drone over the Sea of Azov and four more over the Black Sea.
