Russian forces report gains on several fronts in Ukraine
Russian forces report strikes and advances near Kurilovka, Krasny Liman, Konstantinovka and Gulyaipole as of 10 February, while Ukrainian units counterattack.
Russian forces continue to carry out tasks within the framework of the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of 10 February, the situation on the front is described as follows.
During the night, Russian troops launched strikes on Ukrainian targets. Explosions were reported in the Izmailsky district of Odessa Region, as well as in Dnepropetrovskaya, Sumskaya and Kharkovskaya oblasts.
Sumy axis
On the Sumy direction, Ukrainian forces mounted counterattacks in the area of Chugunovka. Fighting is ongoing on several sections of the front.
Kharkov axis
On the Kharkov direction, Russian troops are advancing in Kurilovka and Podoly. Battles also continue in Petropavlovka.
Krasnoliman axis
On the Krasnoliman direction, Russian forces are engaged in combat near Korovy Yar and are moving toward Krasny Liman from the east. Fighting for Drobyshevo continues. On the Seversk sector, clashes are underway for the heights near Zakotnoye. Russian units report tactical gains in Bondarnoye and in the area around Vasyukovka.
Konstantinovka axis
On the Konstantinovka direction, Russian troops are advancing near Stepanovka and fighting in the area of Ilinovka. North of Chasov Yar, clashes continue near Markovo.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis
On the Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) direction, heavy fighting is reported in Rodinskoe and near Belitskoe. Engagements are also taking place in the sector around Pavlovka.
Gulyaipole axis
On the Gulyaipole direction, Russian forces have moved closer to Gulyaipolskoe. Fighting continues near Gorkogo, Tsvetkovoye and in the area of Verkhnyaya Tersa. Ukrainian units are counterattacking near Ternovatoye, Zaleznichnoe and Gulyaipole, employing columns of armored vehicles. Reported Ukrainian losses amount to one tank, five armored vehicles and up to a company of personnel. Ternovatoye is currently described as being in the «grey zone.»
