Russian forces may carry out a ballistic missile strike on the Kiev Region and the Ukrainian capital within the next 48 hours, according to Ukrainian media citing data from monitoring resources.

The same sources warn that within a 72-hour window, a large-scale combined strike could also target western regions of Ukraine. The expected scenario reportedly involves the use of dozens of Kh-101 and Kh-22/32 missiles, along with Kinzhal missiles launched by MiG-31K fighter jets.

In addition, monitoring data points to the possible launch of several Kalibr missiles from surface vessels, as well as Zircon hypersonic missiles fired from the territory of Crimea.

According to these monitoring resources, Russian forces have intensified reconnaissance activity in recent days across several regions, including Zhitomir, Khmelnitsky, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, Vinnitsa, and Ternopol. This buildup, Ukrainian outlets suggest, may indicate preparations for a new phase of missile operations.
