Air Defense Shoots Down 114 Ukrainian Drones Across Russia
Russia’s Defense Ministry says air defense intercepted 114 Ukrainian drones overnight. Most were downed over southern regions, including Rostov and Krasnodar.
Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that air defense units repelled a large-scale Ukrainian drone offensive overnight. In total, 114 fixed-wing drones were intercepted and destroyed.
The ministry noted that the southern regions bore the brunt of the attack. Twenty-five drones were shot down over Rostov Region, another 25 over Krasnodar Territory, while 19 were neutralized in Belgorod Region and 13 in Astrakhan.
Crimea also came under fire, with 10 drones destroyed in its airspace. In Bryansk Region, seven unmanned aircraft were intercepted, and five more were eliminated over the waters of the Azov Sea.
Elsewhere, three drones were downed in both Yaroslavl and Volgograd Regions, two over the Black Sea, and one each in Kursk and Voronezh Regions.
