Ukrainian sources report that the Russian Aerospace Forces have used Kinzhal hypersonic missiles to strike key infrastructure targets in the Lvov region.

According to the Telegram channel Operatsiya Z: Voenkory Russkoy Vesny, Kinzhal missiles were launched from MiG-31 aircraft against what it described as enemy facilities in the areas of Lvov and Kiev.

It is stated that one of the missiles, launched from a MiG-31K, hit a high-voltage substation rated at 750 kV. Analysts quoted in these reports note that such substations are critical nodes for the stability of the power grid, as they help balance the load of major generators.

Military-focused channels further claim that a second target was the Lvov State Aircraft Repair Plant. The facility is described as servicing and upgrading military aircraft, including F-16 and MiG-29 fighters supplied to Kiev. The local airfield was reportedly used by Ukrainian forces as a forward staging airbase, and strike-capable drones were said to be produced in the same area.
