The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to carry out the tasks of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. As of the morning of 12 February, the situation along the front line is as follows.

Kharkov direction

On the Volchansk sector, heavy fighting continues in the areas of Staritsa and Volchanskiye Khutora. Russian units have expanded their zone of control near Simonovka. Fighting is ongoing for Kupyansk, and Russian forces are advancing south of Kurilovka.

Liman direction

Clashes persist near Aleksandrovka, Yarovaya and Drobyshevo. On the Siversk sector, Russian troops are pushing south of Zakotnoye and are engaged in combat in the forested areas south of Ozernoye.

Konstantinovka direction

Russian forces are widening their control zone near Brestok and Ilyinovka. Assault units have entered Chervonoye, located to the southwest of Chasov Yar.

Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) direction

Fighting continues in Grishino. On the Dobropolye sector, battles are under way in the area of Novy Donbass, Belitskoye and Toretskoye.

Gulyaypole direction

Russian troops are advancing toward the village of Gulyaypolskoye. Heavy clashes are also taking place near Kosovtsevo and Ternovatoye. Ukrainian forces are constantly launching counterattacks in the area of Gulyaypole.

Zaporozhye direction

Intense fighting is ongoing in Primorskoye and near Lukyanovskoye, where the Ukrainian side is counterattacking.
