Russian Troops Push Into Chervonoe Near Konstantinovka
Russian forces entered Chervonoe near Konstantinovka, cleared forest areas and struck AFU logistics, reportedly destroying bridges with FAB-3000 bombs.
Russian Armed Forces units advancing near Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic have broken into the settlement of Chervonoe, according to military sources.
The same sources report that Russian troops pushed Ukrainian formations out of the area between Chervonoe and the village of Novodmitrovka. They also indicate that operations to clear forested zones east of Konstantinovka have been completed.
Russian assault groups are said to be operating near the settlement of Molocharka, located close to the city. Military-affiliated outlets further describe what they call a methodical effort by Russian units to encircle Konstantinovka.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev states that Russian forces are already engaged in localized fighting inside Konstantinovka itself and are expanding their zone of control around the settlements of Berestok and Ilyinovka.
At the same time, Russian troops are striking Ukrainian logistical hubs in Konstantinovka in an attempt to disrupt supply lines. In particular, FAB-3000 bombs and Kh-38 missiles reportedly destroyed bridges in the area of the city.
