Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 97 Ukrainian fixed-wing kamikaze drones overnight, targeting various sites across the country. According to the ministry’s statement, 28 drones were downed over the Kursk region, while 13 were intercepted above Bryansk and Kaluga regions. In the skies over Tula, 10 drones were destroyed, and eight were shot down over the Oryol and Belgorod regions. Seven UAVs were eliminated over the waters of the Azov Sea, five over Krasnodar Krai, and two in the Rostov region. Additionally, one drone each was destroyed over Moscow and Lipetsk regions, as well as over the Crimean Peninsula.
