Russian naval infantry units have advanced to the outskirts of the village of Kondratovka in the Sumy region, according to military sources.

The reports indicate that Russian troops have secured positions on the eastern edge of the settlement, located about 30 kilometers from Sumy. Heavy fighting is currently underway in the area around Kondratovka.

Additional information suggests that Russian army units have reached the village of Malaya Korchakovka, roughly 15 kilometers from Kondratovka, and have pushed forward east of Alekseevka. They have also reportedly cleared ravines between Konstantinovka and Andreevka.

A Telegram channel close to the Russian military grouping «North», known as «North wind», stated that as of February 12, Russian assault groups were advancing simultaneously in several directions. According to the channel, progress has been recorded in eight sectors within the Sumy district, five in the Krasnopolye district, and four in the Glukhov district.

The same source claims that over the past 24 hours, units associated with the «northerners» eliminated more than one hundred Ukrainian servicemen.
