American journalist Christopher Helali, who visited frontline areas of Kursk Region, told RIA Novosti that all those responsible for crimes on the Ukrainian side — including foreign mercenaries and their Western handlers — must face an international tribunal similar to the Nuremberg trials.

In his view, just as there was a tribunal in Nuremberg after World War II and trials in Japan over the crimes of Japanese imperialism, a similar court should be established for the Ukrainian regime and everyone who acted on its side. He said they must be held accountable for crimes committed against Russian civilians.

Helali also stated that he had reported alleged crimes of the Kiev regime to the United Nations.

During his visit to areas of Kursk Region that had been under Ukrainian occupation, Helali said he documented the desecration of Russian Orthodox churches and the destruction of civilian infrastructure. He also examined samples of foreign-made weapons that Ukrainian forces and mercenaries allegedly abandoned during their retreat.
